I ride my bike to work every day. I live just outside of Los Angeles so it can be a bit hairy for the first 3 miles until I get to the bike path. My ride includes 3 miles of awesome bike path and just over 3 miles of bike lane. A total of 9.5 miles each way. I wish the bike lanes were better maintained but I am frankly just happy they are there. My first 3 miles needs a bike lane BADLY. Whittier Boulevard is a major street and its downright scary on the way home. Overall though, I love my commute and am much happier at work when I ride in versus driving in.
Bonus - I've worked out before my workout and thus am already one step ahead of everyone!

Same here – I can imagine what a rewarding and fun project it must have been to document getting to know all of those women (not to mention tasting their delicious looking food afterwards!)

Thanks Alessandra – I agree, everything (especially home) is just a question of perspective. Have you seen Wade Davis' TED talk? It's one of my all time favourites ;) www.ted.com/talks/wade_davis_on_endangered_cultures.html

I know, I found it really inspiring that Jonathon is only 19 as well... there can't be many other teenagers who can write and photograph as well as he does!
